Booking & appointments
How far out are you booking?
Typically about three weeks, and sooner for shorter services like silk press, retwists, and treatments. Members of the Crown Circle get access to the calendar before slots open to the public.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes — a $50 deposit secures your slot and is credited toward your service total. We send a secure deposit link once we confirm your exact quote, so you always know the full price first.
What if I am running late or need to reschedule?
Life happens. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice to move your appointment and keep your deposit. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled out of fairness to the next guest. Full details are in our salon policies.
Can I book for my child?
Absolutely. Our “Little Crowns” services are sized and paced for children ages 10 and under, with gentle, patient styling.
Hair & preparation
Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
Come with clean, detangled, blow-dried hair unless you have booked a wash service with us (we recommend adding one — it is only $25 and makes a real difference to the finished style). If you are unsure, ask when we confirm.
Do you provide the hair, or do I bring my own?
Both options work. We can source quality hair for you at an added cost, or you are welcome to bring your own. If you bring your own, we will tell you exactly how many packs to get for the length and fullness you want.
How long will my appointment take?
It depends on the style and size. Most braided styles run three to seven hours; silk press and treatments are around 90 minutes. We give you a realistic time estimate at confirmation so you can plan your day.
Will braids damage my hair or edges?
Not when they are done right. We braid at a tension your hairline can live with and prioritize scalp health — that is the whole point of our knotless technique. We will never install something so tight it risks your edges.

Are your products right for my hair and skin?
Our line is formulated for textured hair and melanin-rich skin, and every skin product is chosen with melanin-rich skin in mind. If you are not sure where to start, ask us for a recommendation or take the quiz at your next appointment.
Do you ship, and is it free?
We ship across the United States. Shipping is free on orders over $75; a flat rate applies below that. You will see the exact cost in your bag before checkout.
What is your return policy on products?
We stand behind the line with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on unopened products. If something is not right, contact us and we will make it right.
Bridal & events
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we offer on-location styling across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Travel is quoted by distance. We always recommend a trial first so the day-of is calm and certain.
Can you style my whole bridal party?
We can. Party styling is quoted per person; reach out with your headcount and timeline and we will build a schedule that gets everyone ready on time.
